City of Oxford, Mississippi Board of Aldermen Agenda – Tuesday 1 November 2022









The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in the courtroom of the City Hall.

Note that some committee members will be included in the meeting via teleconference, subject to section 2-82 of the Oxford City Code of Ordinance.

    1. Fixed assets management:
      1. Request permission to transfer equipment from the Department of the Oxford Conference Center to the Oxford Park Commission. (Micah Quinn)

  10. Ask for approval to approve the fiscal year 2023 sub-agreement for the Lafayette County Drug Unit, and authorize a city official to submit the contract with the state after receiving IHL approval. (Jeff McCutchen)
  11. Ask for permission to approve a parade / gathering permit to visit Oxford to host the Chamber of Oxford-Shop Oxford on November 13, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the plaza. (Jeff McCutchen)

  18. Second Reading and Public Hearing on the proposed regulation to amend the zoning map in case No 2900 to change the zone of approximately +/- 0.158 acres from institutional-government corridor to suburban corridor and approximately +/- 0.439 acres which are not zoned Institutional -Government of Real Estate located on Professional Drive, hereinafter identified as PPIN # 31943 and # 26930.
